Hampton Mead Consulting are management and information systems consultants based in Adelaide, South Australia. The company was formed, in 2006, by Directors, Sam Horrocks and Bec Neill, to provide information management and information systems services to organisations across government and industry.

Between them, Sam and Bec have over thirty years experience in managing and analysing information systems and have educated a generation of information systems professionals in the South Australian market. This unique blend of industry experience and education provision enables us to deliver services that achieve practical outcomes whilst enhancing our clients' capabilities to plan and manage their information systems and assets.

We provide a range of management and information systems services including

  • strategic planning and advice,
  • reviewing and designing organisational processes
  • eliciting and documenting IS functional requirements,
  • assisting in systems procurement processes (e.g. system specific tender evaluation process design within the context of the organisation's generic procurement policies and procedures)
  • researching and identifying software solutions (vendor independent!)
  • tailored business analyst training
Our specialty is developing vendor independent requirements to alllow clients to reliably, accurately and systematically evaluate individual or multiple vendor tenders and/or applications against the client's business needs. We take our ethical responsibilities of delivering independent advice and/or requirements extremely seriously and we do not develop systems or have investments in organisations that do.
